In addition to some technical difficulties, we've been busy soaking in GC (they don't call it "the" Grand Canyon, just Grand Canyon -- is that pretentious?) and have been slightly negligent in our blog postings. Thanks for hanging in there. Anyway, here is a video of some Native American dancers. Is it just me, or do all the different cremonial dances and chants sound the same? This dance is called something like the "Grass Stomping." It has something to do with stomping down the grass so they can do other stuff in the area later. Why do you need a ceremony for that? But who am I to judge?
In spite of my best efforts, I have yet to find the perfect turquiose piece of jewelry. But the hunt goes on...
